Hunger Games Book review

Hunger Games:

2008 Scholastic PRESS $8.99, 343 pages English | ISBN #: 978-0-439-02352-8
Author: Suzanne Collins Scholastic Inc.
A dark day appears for a girl named Katniss Everdeen, when her sister Prim get’s elected to go to the Hunger games. Katniss takes and act of courage and takes her sister’s place in the hunger games. The Hunger games is an arena for children eighteen and under. Every district (Like a state) takes two kids, a boy and a girl, from each of the twelve districts. TO win the hunger games, they have to battle to the death, and the winner gets sent home with fame, glory, and all the money you need for a lifetime.
Follow Katniss through this heart-racing, mind numbing suspense! Each page just seems to lift off the page and come to life. When I read this book I felt like I was there next to Katniss in the hunger games. Suzanne Collins does one of the best jobs of her career when she wrote this book. When I read this book, I couldn’t set it down, sleep, or eat without thinking about what will happen next, and when I did finish the book, I just sat up all night thinking about what happened. If you adore a book with suspense that comes off the page, and is very quick to get sucked into, I guarantee your going to fall in love with: The Hunger Games. And make sure you have a tissue box throughout this book, because it can get very depressing within this amazing book!!!

All in all I’d rate this 5/5 Stars.
