After he walked 100 ft. from Annie’s house he heard a gun shot at Annie’s house so he runs back and figures out that Annie’s parents were dead. He sees Annie running so he goes and searches for her. He found her in a ditch and told her that if she wanted to stay with him she had will have to come look for his parent’s with me. She nodded and they went off to find Samuel’s parents…….
If you like adventure, action and surprisingly slow paced book that keeps you wanting to read more, I would recommend a five star book for people who likes Gary Paulsen series that keeps you wanting to turn page by page.
