Thus far, this book is about five private school girls (Massie, Claire, Kristin, Dylan, and Alicia) who started a clique called the, "Pretty Committee." They are all in the 8th grade and have massive crushes on a couple of their peers. Massie, being the leader of the group is trying to convince the group that 8th grade guys are immature and they should move to the 9th grade boys. Claire, being the outsider of the group has a boy crush that is in the 8th grade and she isn't willing to give him up. She is being picked on continually and is really getting tired of it. When Halloween finally came, Massie unexpectadly ended up at her crushes house, only to find out he was snuggling with two 9th grade girls on his couch. Massie got really jealous, and it showed. Brianna, the preppy one of the two girls, who liked Massies crush tripped Massie on the way out of the house. When she fell she landed on Landons'(her crush) dog. After the Halloween disaster she showed up and Landon's moms work to try and sort things out and gain her respect again. To do this, she bought the Bark Obama(Landon's dog) a new SnoopDawg 2000 console. Once Landon received this he forgave Massie and everything was fine. I predict that Massie will soon realize that not EVERYTHING is about her and eventually will back up a little. By, Brianna! ;D
