What would you do if your mom came up to you after getting home early from a trip and said you were moving to Greece? Well, in this story Phoebe has no choice but to freak out. Her mom was attending a family reunion and brought back a fiance! Phoebe tries to convince her mom to let her stay in L.A., California with her friends but her mom insists on moving. Phoebe definitely isn't looking forward to moving in with her stepfather, Damian, and her evil stepsister, Stella. She attends the same high school as Stella and her first day she notices that something's different. It's not the classes or the teachers, but the students. That's when she is later told by Damian, that everyone on that island in Greece is a descendant from a Greek God. They all have different powers depending on where they descend from. Phoebe is shocked and doesn't know what to say, she also wonders if she's a descendant from Greek God as well. The only way to find out is to read this book.

The Face on the Milk Carton
The Face on the Milk Carton by Caroline B. Cooney is a great book! Jane is just hanging out with her friends in the cafeteria when she happens to look at the 'missing child' on the milk carton. The face is hers. This begins Jane's quest to find out the truth from her parents. Can Jane do this while dating her first crush? Read this book to find out!
This book intrigued me till the very last page! Filled with romance and adventure, this book is perfect if you like The Lost Island of Tamoor. I am now reading the third book, The Voice on the Radio. I recomend this book to ages 12-14. It is a great read!
