At this time Pillars of the Earth is a breathtaking story set in the medieval times with war, cathedrals, and disasters. The story is mainly about the uprising of king Henry the second, but it pinpoints several people. So far a young mason named Jack is trying to reach his goal of building the most glorious cathedral England has ever seen. Disaster strikes as the famine comes, the town is under attack, his stepbrother is trying to overthrow his title and the bishop who killed his father is trying to kill him. I predict that Jack will complete the cathedral and believe that at some point the bishop will die in the end.
